Like so many people, we here at Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling have a personal connection to someone who battled breast cancer. Because of this, Breast Cancer Awareness, Treatment, and Research is a cause close to our hearts. Anyway that we can help spread the word of awareness we will do so.
As you may know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we didn’t want to let the month pass without providing some information about this terrible disease, including how you can get involved.
Saturday, October 28th, The Making Strides of Albuquerque Fundraising Walk will take place, and it’s not too late to sign up! This event is a noncompetitive 3 to 5 mile walk that brings people together to make a difference for everyone who has been touched by breast cancer. The money raised will fund innovative research, provide free information and support, and help people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it’s most treatable. From the opening ceremony to the post-walk entertainment, it’s a day that will be full of remembrance, celebration, and hope.
