ABQ Celebrates Veteran’s Day with music, honor, parades, and a BIG “thank you!”
Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling is a proud supporter of our veterans year, but we want to make special mention of these brave people as Veterans Day is coming up this weekend.
Employing veterans is something we take great pride in. After these men and women have sacrificed so much to serve our country, it is an honor to have them be a part of the Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling Family. Each year we like to take a moment to give well deserved thanks to all veterans and we hope you will do the same.
The New Mexico Veterans Memorial Museum will be hosting their annual Veterans’ Day ceremony this Sunday, November 11th. The timeline for the morning is:
- 9 a.m. – Parade
- 10 a.m. – Musical Prelude
- 11 a.m. – Ceremony
Please consider attending one or all of the events. This is a great way to honor our local veterans and all that have served.
If you are unable to make it to this event, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has compiled an excellent list of ways that anyone can pay tribute to those that have sacrificed so much for us all.
We want to encourage you to find a veteran and thank them (this week, and everyday). Sit with your friends and family and talk about the veterans in your lives. And if nothing else, take a moment of silence this Sunday to remember all those that we have lost and all those that still serve.
We can all help make Veterans Day in Albuquerque 2018 special for those that deserve it so much.
