Some people are surprised to find out that Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling isn’t a one-trick pony and that we really can do it all. But, we can also handle the HVAC equipment for any commercial business. Moreover, our technician, Joe Tatro, is one of the best men to help with those projects.

Although he’s’s been with the company for a year and a half, Joe is no newbie to Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration. He’s’s been in the industry for 45 years. And, when asked, he doesn’t remember the exact reason why he went into the trade. After thinking about it, he supposes that it was his natural curiosity that led him to the trade and towards wanting to know how everything works.

What Joe Tatro Loves About Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling

As one of our Commercial HVAC technicians, Joe works on refrigeration, ACs, walk-in coolers, ice machines, and other equipment. He most enjoys the challenge of troubleshooting the issue and “making it work.”

He was referred to the company by a friend, and he likes the people with Albuquerque Plumbing the most. And, he likes that everyone knows each other, which is something different for Joe, who says he once had an employer who didn’t even know his name.

Joe’s First Win

Joe has never won Team Member of the Month before, and this now puts him in the running for Team Member of the Year. While some of our fellow team members would dream of running off to a beach in the tropics or a European town with majestic sights, Joe would go to Dahlonega, Georgia. The inspiration for this getaway comes from the song, “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega,” by country singer Ashley McBryde.

If he wins Team Member of the Year, he could either travel solo, or he could take his wife of 32 years. Regardless if he wins or not, we’ll still raise a glass of sweet tea to Joe on being an excellent team member!
